Salman Butt likely to face seven-year ban

Former test captain of Pakistan cricket team Salman Butt, who was suspended by International Cricket Council (ICC) on match fixing allegations, likely to face seven years ban and heavy financial penalty in an upcoming hearing of ICC Independent tribunal in Doha, Qatar from Jan 6-11.

An Indian news agency has claimed that its sources in ICC has confirmed them that suspended Pakistan captain will handover seven years ban and heavy financial penalty while the other two pakistani players fast bowlers Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif will serve two years ban.
